The 2014 film Paddington on 4K SteelBook in November
The 2014 family film “Paddington” will make its United States 4K UHD Blu-ray debut in a SteelBook on November 10th, exclusively from Lionsgate Limited.
The movie was directed and co-written by Paul King. Its cast included Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Nicole Kidman, and Ben Whishaw. It’s worth noting that it is “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes.
This will be the first time this motion picture has been available in 4K in the United States. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook will be available to preorder via the Lionsgate Limited website, sometime later today.
