BBC Studios, in an early alert to retailers, has made public plans to bring the thirteenth “Doctor Who” Christmas special “Doctor Who: Twice Upon A Time” to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 25th, well in time for the holiday season. The title was released earlier this year on the Blu-ray Disc format. Tech specs and bonus materials have not yet been detailed, but should be similar, with 4K UHD video, one would presume. Stay tuned for an update when we get official word from BBC. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon. Retailer Best Buy has the title available for pre-order but hasn’t changed the release date yet, it would seem.
