Wes Craven’s film Scream 4 is coming to 4K in June

Wes Craven directed this fourth film in the horror franchise, written by Kevin Williamson. It starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Kristen Bell, Emma Roberts, Alison Brie, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Anthony Anderson, and Marley Shelton.

Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10-compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The 1994 film The Stöned Age gets a Blu-ray in April

The movie, also known as “The Stoned Age,” was co-written and directed by James Melkonian. It starred Bradford Tatum, Michael Kopelow, China Kantner, and Renee Allman. The supporting cast featured Daniel Collins, Taylor Negron, Clifton Collins Jr., and Jake Busey.

This release will be spine number 38 in the Vestron Video line. The motion picture has been digitally restored. The Blu-ray tech specs include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo sound. The release will include a digital copy, likely to be compatible with Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU).

American Psycho gets 25th Anniversary Edition 4K

The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will be the UNRATED Uncut Version (102 minutes), not the theatrical R-rated version.

The release will include some very imaginative packaging with a certain twist for those who are fans of the Huey Lewis and the News album “Sports.” The 4K disc will come packaged inside a CD jewel case along with some business cards to die for, as well as replica credit and Blockbuster membership cards (as seen below).

The 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available exclusively for preorder via the Lionsgate Limited website. It’s also worth noting that a VHS “Be Kind, Rewind” edition of the film will also be available in December via Lionsgate Limited as an exclusive. The Home [2025] on 4K and Blu-ray in September

The 2025 horror film “The Home” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray Digipak and Blu-ray on September 23rd via Lionsgate. The 4K UHD Blu-ray Digipak release will be Lionsgate Limited exclusive. The Blu-ray is set to be released by Lionsgate Home Entertainment and will be available at most retailers. James DeMonaco directed and co-wrote the film. It stars Pete Davidson, John Glover, Ethan Phillips, and Bruce Altman.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray Digipak include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. Both releases will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, while the Blu-ray release will get its DVD counterpart. The 2024 film The Surfer is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on July 15th via Lionsgate Limited. Lorcan Finnegan directed the film. It stars Nicolas Cage, Finn Little, Rahel Romahn, Nic Cassim, Julian McMahon, Miranda Tapsell, Alexander Bertrand, and Rory O’Keeffe. It’s certainly worth noting that this film is deemed “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, based on reception from critics.
