The 1977 film A Bridge Too Far comes to 4K in March

The 1977 war epic “A Bridge Too Far” will arrive on 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 24th via KL Studio Classics (Kino Lorber).
Richard Attenborough directed the movie. It starred Gene Hackman, Robert Redford, Sean Connery, Michael Caine, James Caan, Dirk Bogarde, Edward Fox, Elliott Gould, and Anthony Hopkins. It co-starred Hardy Kruger, Laurence Olivier, Ryan O’Neal, Maximilian Schell, Liv Ullmann, Wolfgang Preiss, Jeremy Kemp, Ben Cross, Denholm Elliott, Arthur Hill, and John Ratzengerger.
The motion picture has undergone a 4K scan from the original 35mm camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless sound, on a BD-100 disc. The audio format(s) and configuration(s) haven’t been officially announced, but stay tuned for an update. The release will be a 2-disc “combo pack” that includes its Blu-ray Disc counterpart.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is not yet available for preorder at Amazon or Walmart. You can expect an update later. Nevertheless, the 4K UHD Blu-ray is available to preorder directly via Kino Lorber’s website. The bonus material included on the release is listed below, sorted by disc.
