The 1977 film A Bridge Too Far comes to 4K in March

The motion picture has undergone a 4K scan from the original 35mm camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless sound, on a BD-100 disc. The audio format(s) and configuration(s) haven’t been officially announced, but stay tuned for an update. The release will be a 2-disc “combo pack” that includes its Blu-ray Disc counterpart.

The 1975 film Barry Lyndon comes to 4K in July

The 1975 film “Barry Lyndon” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on July 8th via The Criterion Collection. Stanley Kubrick directed the film. The movie starred Ryan O’Neal, Marisa Berenson, Patrick Magee, Hardy Krüger, and Steven Berkoff. It’s most certainly worth noting that this film is still (to this day) “Certified Fresh” by critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

The movie has received a 4K restoration. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.66:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10. It will also include an uncompressed LPCM Mono mix and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound mix.. The 3-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and an additional Blu-ray with extras.

The 1962 film Hatari!” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Special Edition Blu-ray Disc on December 10th via KL Studio Classics. Howard Hawks directed and produced the film, which starred John Wayne, Hardy KrugerElsa MartinelliRed ButtonsGérard BlainBruce CabotMichèle GirardonValentin de Vargas, and Eduard Franz.

The movie has received a new 4K master from a 16-bit 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and lossless 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray Special Edition include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and lossless 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray counterpart included.
