The 1977 film A Bridge Too Far comes to 4K in March

The motion picture has undergone a 4K scan from the original 35mm camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless sound, on a BD-100 disc. The audio format(s) and configuration(s) haven’t been officially announced, but stay tuned for an update. The release will be a 2-disc “combo pack” that includes its Blu-ray Disc counterpart.

John Carpenter’s 1998 film Vampires on 4K in January

The 1998 film “Vampires” directed by John Carpenter, will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray on January 21 via Scream Factory. The film starred James Woods, Daniel Baldwin, Sheryl Lee, Thomas Ian Griffith, and Maximilian Schell.

The movie has received a 4K restoration from the original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo sound. The release will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon and you can also preorder directly via the Shout! Carpenter’s Vampires Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

The 1998 film John Carpenter’s Vampires is getting a “Collector’s Edition” Blu-ray Disc release on September 24th via Scream Factory. The film, directed by John Carpenter, starred James WoodsDaniel BaldwinSheryl Lee, Thomas Ian Griffith, Maximilian Schell, and Tim Guinee. The tech specs for the release have not yet been fully detailed but you can expect full 1080p HD video in the original 2.35:1 aspect ratio with lossless (DTS-HD Master Audio) sound, likely in both 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 surround configurations – although not yet confirmed. The Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the release have just been detailed today and are listed below.
