The 2007 film 1408 gets a 4K SteelBook in January

The 2007 film “1408“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, exclusively at Amazon, on January 13th via Lionsgate. The movie, based on a short story by Stephen King, was directed by Mikael Håfström. The movie starred John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, Mary McCormack, and Tony Shalhoub.
The release will include both the theatrical and director’s cuts of the movie, each in 4K on its own individual 4K disc. Technical specifications for the 4K UHD Blu-ray [Discs] include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible). The audio configuration(s) include lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround for the theatrical cut only. Meanwhile, the Director’s Cut will feature Dolby Atmos sound. The 3-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc counterpart [featuring both cuts] included. It will also include a digital copy.
