The Americas on 4K and Blu-ray in November

The 2025 nature documentary / limited series “The Americas” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on November 18th, courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Tom Hanks narrated the mini-series. It was seen on NBC and streaming on Peacock. It was nominated for 2 Primetime Emmys.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, spanning across a 2-disc set. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound, on a 2-disc set.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. The Blu-ray, however, is not yet available at Amazon to preorder, so stay tuned for an update.
