The 2005 film Jarhead comes to 4K in December

The 2005 film “Jarhead” will be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on December 16th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Sam Mendes directed this motion picture. It starred Jake Gyllenhaal, Jamie Foxx, Lucas Black, and Peter Sarsgaard. The movie is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included, as well as a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.
