Spider-Man No Way Home comes to 4K and Blu-ray April

The 2021 Marvel Studios film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on April 12th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.  The film, directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Benedict Wong, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, and Alfred Molina.  It should most certainly be noted, at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in 2.39:1 aspect with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray getting its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting the DVD counterpart, and each includes a digital code (copy) of the film.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.  It’s also worth noting that online retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured) below which is now listed.

UPDATE:  There will be an exclusive “Fan Art Edition” on 4K UHD Blu-ray available of the film over at retailer Target (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

Spider-Man No Way Home is coming to 4K and Blu-ray

The 2021 film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” appears to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray next year via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, according to retailer listings. There’s no official release date at this point, but stay tuned for a later news story when it gets fully announced.

The film, directed by Jon Watts, stars Tom HollandZendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Marisa Tomei, Benedict Wong, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, and Alfred Molina.

The tech specs for the 4K and Blu-ray releases have not yet been detailed, nor have bonus materials, but stay tuned for an update on that [as said before] when the title gets officially announced. In the meantime, you can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases available for preorder over at Amazon. You can also find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at retailer Best Buy. Pixar film Soul on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in March

The 2020 Pixar film “Soul” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on March 23rd via Disney according to Home Media Magazine. The film, directed by Pete Docter and co-directed by Kemp Powers, features the voice talents of Jamie FoxxTina FeyGraham Norton, Rachel House, Alice Braga, Richard Ayoade, Phylicia Rashad, Donnell Rawlings, Questlove, and Angela Bassett. The tech specs for the release have yet to be detailed, but you should expect a 4K presentation with HDR10 and a Dolby Atmos sound mix. It is known that the releases will both come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K UHD Blu-ray will include its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray will include its DVD counterpart, and each will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. No retailers have yet listed either the 4K UHD Blu-ray or the Blu-ray for preorder, but stay tuned for an update.

It’s mentioned [here] that retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook and that retailer Target will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray Gallery Booklet packaging release. 2004 Michael Mann film Collateral on 4K in December

The 2004 Michael Mann directed film Collateral starring Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 8th via Paramount. The film co-starred Jada Pinkett Smith, Mark Ruffalo, Peter Berg, Bruce McGill, Javier Bardem, Irma P. Hall, and Barry Shabaka Henley.

Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio from a new 4K remaster that was done “under the supervision of the director” [Michael Mann]. No specific details yet regarding the audio format or configuration on this release, but I have put in an inquiry directly to the studio (Paramount) about this and I hope to hear back and provide you all with an update soon.

This release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with a Blu-ray Disc counterpart (in this case: “remastered, offering an exceptional viewing experience”) and digital code (copy) of the film. “Just Mercy” with Michael B. Jordan on Blu-ray April

The 2020 film “Just Mercy” starring Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Foxx is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on April 14th, via Warner. The film, based on a true story & directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, co-stars Brie Larson, Rob Morgan, Rafe Spall, O’Shea Jackson Jr.Karan Kendrick, and Tim Blake Nelson. The film was rather well-received by the critics during its theatrical run, in fact, at the time of writing, this currently carries a “Certified Fresh” rating over at Rotten Tomatoes. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. The 2018 film “Robin Hood” starring Taron Egerton and Jamie Foxx is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 19th, via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Otto Bathurst, co-stars Ben Mendelsohn, Eve Hewson, Jamie Dornan, and Tim Minchin.

Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include 2160p video presented in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The technical specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video presented in the 2.40:1 aspect and Dolby Atmos sound, as well. Both release will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and each getting a Digital Copy of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc are both available now to pre-order over at Amazon. Tech specs for the release include 2160p 4K video in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio with both Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.
