The 2025 DC animated movie “Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on September 23rd, distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Juan Jose Meza-Leon directed and co-wrote the film. Its English voice cast includes Jay Hernandez and Raymond Cruz. The Spanish voice cast includes Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro, and Álvaro Morte.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound. Both releases will feature a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.

UPDATED: Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is available for preorder at online retailer MovieZyng. The Blu-ray is available at online retailer GRUV (or via Walmart). The bonus materials set to be included with the releases are listed below.

• The Battle Cry of Aztec Batman – Go behind the scenes and inside the voiceover booth with Jay Hernandez as he fulfills a childhood dream and reveals the creative process of becoming Batman.
• The Batman Mythology and Aztec Inspiration – Screenwriter Ernie Altbacker and Jay Hernandez reveal the film’s approach to melding the historically accurate world of the Aztecs with the iconic cast of Batman comic book characters.
