Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2025 DC animated movie “Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires” will be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on September 23rd, distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Juan Jose Meza-Leon directed and co-wrote the film. Its English voice cast includes Jay Hernandez and Raymond Cruz. The Spanish voice cast includes Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro, and Álvaro Morte.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-66 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound. Both releases will feature a digital copy compatible with Movies Anywhere.

UPDATED: Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are now available for preorder at Amazon. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is available for preorder at online retailer MovieZyng. Watchmen Chapter I comes to 4K and Blu-ray in August

The 2024 DC animated movie “Watchmen: Chapter I” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 27th via Warner Bros. Discovery Entertainment. The film, from Warner Bros. Animation, is based on the 1986 graphic novel series “Watchmen” by writer Alan Moore and illustrator Dave Gibbons. This will be the first in a 2-part series, with “Watchmen: Chapter II” set for release sometime later in 2024. Mortal Kombat Legends Battle of the Realms 4K and Blu-ray

The 2021 Warner Bros. Animation original film “Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 31st, via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, based on the popular video game franchise (“Mortal Kombat”), was directed by Ethan Spaulding. This film also is the sequel to Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge from 2020 and will feature some of the same voice cast. The full voice cast here includes Joel McHale, Jennifer Carpenter, Jordan Rodrigues, Patrick Seitz, Artt Butler, Robin Atkin Downes, Dave B. Mitchell, Ikè Amadi, Grey Griffin, Fred TatascioreMatthew Mercer, Bayardo De Murguia, Matt Yang King, Paul Nakauchi, Emily O’Brien, and Debra Wilson.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray will both come with a digital code (copy of the film). Batman The Long Halloween Part One on Blu-ray in June

The latest DC Universe Movie, the 2021 film “Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 22nd via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. This story will be split up into two parts, with “Part Two” planned for a later release. Part One was directed by Chris Palmer and it features the voice talents of Jensen Ackles (Batman / Bruce Wayne), Naya Rivera (Catwoman/Selina Kyle), Josh Duhamel (Harvey Dent), Billy Burke (James Gordon), Titus Welliver (Carmine Falcone), David Dastmalchian (Calendar Man), Troy Baker (Joker), Amy Landecker (Barbara Gordon), Julie Nathanson (Gilda Dent), Jack Quaid (Alberto), Fred Tatasciore (Solomon Grundy), Jim Pirri (Sal Maroni), and Alastair Duncan (Alfred).

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD presentation and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film.
