The 1984 film adaptation of Stephen King‘s Children of the Corn is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on September 28th via Arrow Video. The film, directed by Fritz Kiersch and based on the Stephen King novel, starred Peter Horton, Linda Hamilton, R.G. Armstrong, John Franklin, Courtney Gains, Julie Maddalena, Robby Kiger, and Anne Marie McEvoy. The movie has received a brand new 4K restoration from the original camera negative. Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and both the original 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 surround lossless sound mixes.
