Bradley Cooper’s 2018 “A Star Is Born” comes to 4K and Blu-ray in February

The 2018 Bradley Cooper directed remake of “A Star Is Born” starring Lady Gaga is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 19th, 2019 via Warner – according to an early alert to retailers.  It is known (from artwork) that both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a the 4K getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray getting a DVD, and each getting a Digital Copy of the film included. The artwork does unveil one few bit of tech specs regarding only the 4K release. The 4K release will come with both HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. It is yet unknown if the Blu-ray will also include that Atmos mix. The full tech specs and bonus materials for the releases have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are both now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Both versions are also available to pre-order over at Target and Best Buy as well – where you’ll see the release date shown. It’s also known that retailer Best Buy will be getting Exclusive Steelbook releases for both the 4K and Blu-ray versions of the film.
