Commissions Earned
The 2025 sequel “Freakier Friday“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 11th via Disney. Nisha Ganatra directed the movie, which stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan. It co-stars Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Mark Harmon, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Christina Vidal, and Haley Hudson.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray Disc release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The Dolby Atmos mix appears to be reserved for digital release only at present, as no 4K release is planned; more on that later. The Blu-ray release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its DVD counterpart included, along with a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere.
UPDATED: You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon, but not Walmart, so stay tuned for an update on that soon when the situation changes.

DISNEY’S FREAKIER FRIDAY ARRIVES ON
DIGITAL, BLU-RAY™ & DVD
BURBANK, CA (October 1, 2025) – Roles are swapped once more in Disney’s Freakier Friday, the all-new family comedy that flips perspectives and delivers laugh-out-loud, out-of-body chaos. The film arrives October 7 on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home, and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD November 11.
