The 2000 film Meet the Parents on 4K in August

The 2000 film Meet the Parents is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on August 12th, courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Jay Roach directed this movie. It starred Robert De Niro, Ben Stiller, Blythe Danner, Teri Polo, and Owen Wilson. It’s worth noting that this motion picture remains “Certified Fresh” (based on critics) at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range. It will also include Dolby Atmos sound on a BD-100 disc. The 4K release will be a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy, compatible with Movies Anywhere, included.

The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon, GRUV, and Walmart. The Bonus materials set to be included with this release are listed below.
