2005 “War of the Worlds” arrives on 4K in May

The 2005 Steven Spielberg directed adaptation of “War of the Worlds“ starring Tom Cruise will arrive on 4K UHD Blu-ray come May 19th, via Paramount. It is known from the artwork (pictured above) that the release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray and a digital code (copy) of the film.
UPDATE: The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder over at Amazon. It is also worth noting that you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray listed for preorder over at retailers Best Buy and Target. We do have now have a glimpse at the back of the package art, with the tech specs and bonus materials set to be included on the release. The tech specs for the release include video in the HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The bonus materials set to be included on the release, housed on the Blu-ray, are listed below.
