2021 film Chaos Walking is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in May

The 2021 film “Chaos Walking” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on May 25th via Lionsgate, according to retailers. The film, directed by Doug Liman, stars Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland, Mads Mikkelsen, Nick Jonas, Cynthia Erivo, Demián Bichir, and Ray McKinnon. The tech specs and bonus materials for the 4K and Blu-ray have not yet been detailed, as it’s awaiting an official announcement, so stay tuned for an update. It is known that the 4K and Blu-ray releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” (via the artwork) meaning that the 4K UHD Blu-ray will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, the Blu-ray will come with a DVD, and both will include a digital code (copy) of the film. The 1993 film “In the Line of Fire” starring Clint Eastwood is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on June 15th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, according to a retailer listing. The film, directed by Wolfgang Petersen, co-starred John MalkovichRene Russo, Dylan McDermott, Gary Cole, and the late Fred Thompson.

UPDATE: The title has now officially been announced by Sony. Tech specs for the release include a 2160p 4K video presentation, via a new 4K remaster from the original camera negative, in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will also come with the original theatrical sound mixes via 5.1 surround sound and 2.0 stereo sound mixes in the DTS-HD Master Audio lossless format. There will not be a Blu-ray Disc included with this release, initially, and instead, only a digital code (copy) of the film will be included — as quoted from the press release below.

The latest DC Universe Movie, the 2021 film “Batman: The Long Halloween, Part One” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 22nd via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. This story will be split up into two parts, with “Part Two” planned for a later release. Part One was directed by Chris Palmer and it features the voice talents of Jensen Ackles (Batman / Bruce Wayne), Naya Rivera (Catwoman/Selina Kyle), Josh Duhamel (Harvey Dent), Billy Burke (James Gordon), Titus Welliver (Carmine Falcone), David Dastmalchian (Calendar Man), Troy Baker (Joker), Amy Landecker (Barbara Gordon), Julie Nathanson (Gilda Dent), Jack Quaid (Alberto), Fred Tatasciore (Solomon Grundy), Jim Pirri (Sal Maroni), and Alastair Duncan (Alfred).
