The 1995 film Outbreak is arriving on 4K in March

The 1995 film “Outbreak“ will be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on March 31st via Shout Select (Shout! Studios). Wolfgang Petersen directed the motion picture. The movie starred Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo, Morgan Freeman, Cuba Gooding Jr., Kevin Spacey, Patrick Dempsey, and Donald Sutherland.
This has received a 4K transfer from the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless surround sound. The 2-disc set will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.
The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon and GRUV. The bonus materials for the release have yet to be detailed, but stay tuned for an update on that.
