The 2005 film Aeon Flux (a.k.a. “Æon Flux”) is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on October 7th via Paramount Media Media Distribution. Based on the popular animated MTV series (of the same title), the movie was directed by Karyn Kusama. It starred Charlize Theron. It also co-starred Frances McDormand, Marton Csokas, Jonny Lee Miller, Sophie Okonedo, and Pete Postlethwaite. It’s worth noting that this motion picture is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range. It will be accompanied by a lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound mix. The release will be a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. The release will also include a digital copy of the film. You can find a glimpse at the artwork and contents of the 4K SteelBook pictured below.

You can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook available for preorder at Amazon. The following legacy bonus materials will be included on the release, presumably on the Blu-ray.
