The 2026 film Primate is coming to Blu-ray in April

The 2026 film “Primate” on Blu-ray Disc will arrive on April 21st via Paramount Home Media Distribution.
Johannes Roberts directed, executive-produced, and co-wrote the movie. It stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jess Alexander, Victoria Wyant, Benjamin Cheng, Gia Hunter, and Troy Kotsur. It’s worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” (based on critics’ reviews) at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the movie, presumably redeemable via AppleTV and/or Fandango at Home.

“The SpongeBob Movie: Search for Squarepants” will be released on Blu-ray Disc and Blu-ray SteelBook on March 31st via Paramount.
Derek Drymon directed the movie. It features the voice talents of Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Carolyn Lawrence, and Mr. Lawrence, as well as George Lopez.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The Blu-ray release(s) will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its DVD counterpart included, as well as a digital code (copy).

The 2004 film “Mean Girls” will get a standard 4K UHD Blu-ray release on February 17th via Paramount. Mark Waters directed the movie, produced by Lorne Michaels, featuring a screenplay written by Tina Fey. It starred Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert, Amanda Seyfried, Amy Poehler, Tim Meadows, Daniel Franzese, Lizzy Caplan, and Tina Fey.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless Dolby TrueHD 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-66 disc. The release will include a digital code (copy) compatible with AppleTV and Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU).

The 2011 film Rango gets a standard 4K in March

The 2011 animated film “Rango“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, in a standard release, on March 10th via Paramount. Gore Verbinski co-wrote the story, produced, and directed the film. It featured the voice talents of Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, and Abigail Breslin. It also featured the voices of Ned Beatty, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy, Stephen Root, Harry Dean Stanton, and Timothy Olyphant.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.40:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound, on a BD-66 disc. The 2-disc release will be a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. A digital code (copy) of the film is also included, which is compatible with AppleTV or Fandango at Home (formerly VUDU). The 4K will include both the theatrical version (107 minutes) and the extended version (111 minutes).

The 2025 film adaptation of “The Running Man” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook on March 3rd via Paramount. Edgar Wright co-wrote [the adaptation] and directed the film, based on the novel by Stephen King. It stars Glen Powell, Josh Brolin, Colman Domingo, and Lee Pace. It also co-stars William H. Macy, Michael Cera, Sean Hayes, Katy O’Brian, and Martin Herlihy.

The 2025 romantic comedy “Regretting You“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on February 17th via Paramount. Josh Boone directed the movie, which starred Allison Williams, Mckenna Grace, Dave Franco, and Mason Thames. The movie co-stars Scott Eastwood, Clancy Brown, and Willa Fitzgerald.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with a lossless 5.1 surround sound mix, presumably in either DTS-HD MA or Dolby TrueHD — although yet to be confirmed. It did actually get a Dolby Atmos mix in select theaters, so don’t rule it out as being possible. Stay tuned for an update on the sound format. The release will include a digital code (copy).
