Copshop with Gerard Butler on Blu-ray in December

The 2021 film “Copshop“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 7th via Universal Studio Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Joe Carnahan, stars Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder, Toby Huss, Chad L. Coleman, and Ryan O’Nan. It’s most certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its DVD counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film which is compatible with Movies Anywhere. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included with his release, according to the press release and rear package art.

Screaming through the Nevada desert in a bullet-ridden Crown Vic, wily con artist Teddy Murretto (Frank Grillo; The Grey, The Purge: Anarchy) hatches a desperate plan to hide out from lethal hitman Bob Viddick (Gerard Butler; Greenland, Angel Has Fallen): He sucker-punches rookie officer Valerie Young (Alexis Louder; The Tomorrow War, Harriet) to get himself arrested and locked up in a small-town police station. But jail can’t protect Murretto for long. Viddick schemes his own way into detention, biding his time in a nearby cell until he can complete his mission.
