Spiral comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in July

2021 film “Spiral” starring Chris Rock is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on July 20th, via Lionsgate, according to multiple retailers. The film, the latest in the from the book of “SAW” franchise, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman, co-stars Samuel L. Jackson, Max Minghella, and Marisol Nichols. The tech specs for the release have not been fully detailed yet, aside from both getting Dolby Atmos sound, for the 4K and Blu-ray releases but stay tuned for an update. The releases will both come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will come with its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray will come with a DVD, and both will include a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the standard 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available to preorder over at Amazon.

It’s also known that retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) which you can now find available for preorder over there.

The 2021 science fiction film “Voyagers” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on June 15th via Lionsgate. The film, written and directed by Neil Burger, stars Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, Chanté Adams, and Colin Farrell. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless surround sound. The 2020 multiple Academy Award-nominated film “Minari” is coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 18th via Lionsgate. The film, written & directed by Lee Isaac Chung, stars Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Alan S. Kim, Noel Cho, and Yuh-Jung Youn.

The 2004 horror film “Saw” — in its UNRATED form — will be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray release on May 11th via Lionsgate, according to retailers. The film, directed by James Wan, starred Cary Elwes, Danny Glover, Monica Potter, Shawnee Smith, Ken Leung, Dina Meyer, and Leigh Whannell. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, nor have the bonus materials for the release but stay tuned for an update. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include the Blu-ray Disc counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film.

UPDATES: The release date actually appears it will be May 11th, as noted, and not the week before as one retailer had been indicating. As of now, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.
