The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon. The Blu-ray, however, is not yet available at Amazon to preorder, so stay tuned for an update. Lastly, the only bonus material set to be included with the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases is a featurette titled “The Making of The Americas.”

American Psycho gets 25th Anniversary Edition 4K

The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. The release will be the UNRATED Uncut Version (102 minutes), not the theatrical R-rated version.

The release will include some very imaginative packaging with a certain twist for those who are fans of the Huey Lewis and the News album “Sports.” The 4K disc will come packaged inside a CD jewel case along with some business cards to die for, as well as replica credit and Blockbuster membership cards (as seen below).

The 25th Anniversary Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available exclusively for preorder via the Lionsgate Limited website. It’s also worth noting that a VHS “Be Kind, Rewind” edition of the film will also be available in December via Lionsgate Limited as an exclusive. The bonus materials set to be included on this new 4K set are listed below.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible), high dynamic range, and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-100 disc. This release will come as a 2-disc “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.
