The 1996 animated motion picture “Beavis and Butt-Head Do America“ is finally coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 7th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, a spin-off of the MTV TV show [“Beavis & Butt-Head”], celebrating its 25th anniversary, was co-written & co-directed by creator Mike Judge, who also lent his voice talents to the lead characters and a few others. The movie also featured the voice talents of Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, Robert Stack, and Cloris Leachman.
UPDATE: The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound mix, as well as a French Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo mix. As for extras, all of the special features from the previous DVD release are being ported over. The release will also come with a digital code (copy) of the film, which is compatible with iTunes [AppleTV] and VUDU. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon.
The popular TV series “The Crown: The Complete Fourth Season“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 2nd, via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The show, created by Peter Morgan, stars Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Helena Bonham Carter, Gillian Anderson, Josh O’Connor, Emma Corrin, Marion Bailey, Erin Doherty, Emerald Fennell, and Stephen Boxer.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 4-disc set. Amazon Commissions EarnedThe 1981 sequel “Mad Max: The Road Warrior“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 16th, via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, according to numerous retail sources. The film, co-written and directed by George Miller, starred Mel Gibson, Bruce Spence, Michael Preston, Max Phipps, Vernon Wells, Emil Minty, Virginia Hey, William Zappa, and Kjell Nilsson.
UPDATE #2: this title has now been pushed back two weeks, along with the other sequel and box set (Anthology) to a new release date of November 16th (originally slated for 11/2).
The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The release is known to be coming in the form of a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included as well as a digital code (copy) of the film.

It’s most certainly worth noting that there will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook as an exclusive over at Best Buy (pictured below). That also has a product page but is not yet available to preorder.
It’s also worth noting that a box set called “Mad Max Anthology“ on 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured below) has appeared over at Amazon as well as retailer Target. This set will include the first film, “Mad Max” (1979), this film [“Mad Max: The Road Warrior” (1981)], “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome” (1985), and “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015).
It’s lastly worth noting, as pictured below, that the third film “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome“ (1985) will be getting a standard individual 4K UHD Blu-ray release and a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook, with the latter being exclusive to retailer Best Buy. You can now find this 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. Both releases of this film over at Best Buy have product pages, like the second film, but cannot yet be preordered.
