The 1978 cult-classic horror film “I Spit on Your Grave“ is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a limited edition release on October 26th via Ronin Flix. The film, written and directed by Meir Zarchi, starred Camille Keaton, Eron Tabor, Richard Pace, Anthony Nichols, and Gunter Kleemann. The movie has a new 2020 4K scan and restoration, from the original camera negative, and the Mono audio sound mix has also been restored from the uncut version — as detailed below.
“Featuring a brand new 2021 4K HDR Remaster done by Ronin Flix on 4K Ultra HD, the 2020 4K scan and restoration of director Meir Zarchi’s uncut 35mm original camera negative and the restored original mono soundtrack …”
This limited edition “combo pack” release will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart (as pictured below) as well as a Blu-ray bonus disc with a feature-length documentary and limited edition slipcover.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range as well as DTS-HD Master Audio Mono, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround, and DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 Stereo sound options. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with the same DTS-HD MA lossless sound mixes. You’ll have to order this title (it seems) directly via RoninFlix.com, where it is now available for preorder. There’s no sign of this release being available at any other retailers, but stay tuned for an update on that if it changes. The bonus materials set to be included on this 3-disc set are listed below.

UPDATED: The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.90:1 aspect ratio with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the same 1.90:1 aspect ratio and with the same Dolby Atmos sound. Retailer Best Buy will be getting an exclusive release of the 4K UHD Blu-ray in SteelBook form (pictured below) that is also available for preorder.
The releases are both going to each come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will come with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and the Blu-ray will come with its DVD counterpart. Both will also include a digital code (copy) of the film that is confirmed to be compatible with Movies Anywhere. Amazon Commissions EarnedThe 2021 DC animated movie “Injustice” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on October 19th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The movie is an adaptation of the video game (“Injustice: Gods Among Us”) created by NeatherRealm Studios as well as the graphic novel. The film, directed by Matt Peters, features a voice cast of Justin Hartley, Anson Mount, Janet Varney, Brandon Micheal Hall, Kevin Pollak, Anika Noni Rose, Reid Scott, Edwin Hodge, and Gillian Jacobs.
The tech specs for the 4K and Blu-ray have yet to be fully detailed but stay tuned for an update. You should definitely expect the 4K UHD Blu-ray release to at least include the HDR10 form of high dynamic range. In terms of sound, it is likely this will include DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround on both releases. The 4K release will come in the form of the “combo pack” meaning it will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart, with both releases also coming with a digital code (copy) of the film. Amazon Commissions EarnedThe 2015 film “Krampus“ will be getting a “Collector’s Edition” 4K UHD Blu-ray release featuring “The Naughty Cut“ on December 7th, via Scream Factory (Shout! Factory). The film, directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty, starred Adam Scott, Toni Collette, Allison Tolman, Stefania LaVie Owen, Emjay Anthony, and David Koechner. Info regarding “The Naughty Cut” and how it differs from the theatrical cut of the film can be found in detail below.
“For the first time ever Michael’s Dougherty’s previously unseen “Naughty Cut” of the film will be seeing the light of day! This alternate version restores key dialogue and scenes that had to be trimmed from the original theatrical release to appease the MPAA. The TV show, which aired on HBO from 1998 through 2004 for a total of 6 seasons, starred Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.
The tech specs for the TV series include a 1080p HD video presentation with lossless 5.1 surround sound, spanning across a total of 18 BD-50 discs — including the two films.
