The 1980 film Terror Train will arrive on 4K in May
The 1980 slasher horror “Terror Train” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 26th via KL Studio Classics [Kino Lorber].
Roger Spottiswoode directed the film, best known for also directing “The 6th Day” (2000). This movie starred Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, Hart Bochner, David Copperfield, Vanity, Sandee Currie, and D.D. Winters.
This has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10, a form of high dynamic range, and lossless sound. The format(s) and configuration(s) for audio have not yet been detailed.
You cannot yet preorder the 4K UHD Blu-ray at Amazon or other retailers. So, stay tuned for an update. In the meantime, you can preorder directly via the Kino Lorber website.
