The 1996 film Kingpin is coming to 4K this May

The 1996 film “Kingpin” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 27th via KL Studio Classics. Bobby Farrelly and Peter Farrelly directed the comedy. It starred Woody Harrelson, Bill Murray, Randy Quaid, Vanessa Angel, and Chris Elliott.
The movie has received a new master from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10 and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 stereo, on a BD-100 disc. This 2-disc set will come as a “combo pack, ” including its Blu-ray Disc counterpart. That Blu-ray will include both the Theatrical Cut and the Extended Cut of the film. The 4K disc will feature only the Theatrical Cut.
