The 2019 Roland Emmerich directed film “Midway” is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 18th via Lionsgate. The film, which was based on real events, features a cast of Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans, Nick Jonas, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, Aaron Eckhart, and Woody Harrelson. Tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The technical specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect and Dolby Atmos sound. The releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K including the Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting a DVD counterpart, and both including a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray of the film available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s also worth noting that retailer Best Buy will be getting an Exclusive4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release of the film (pictured below), which is also now available for preorder.
