The TV show “Into the Badlands: The Complete Third Season“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 27th via Lionsgate. The show, as seen on AMC, stars Daniel Wu, Aramis Knight, Emily Beecham, Orla Brady, Sherman Augustus, and Babou Ceesay. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with Dolby TrueHD 5.1 sound. The release will include a digital copy of the third season of the show. You can now find the Blu-ray available for pre-order over at Amazon. No bonus materials are listed to be included. “The Omen Collection [Deluxe Edition]“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc as a 5-disc set on October 15th via Scream Factory. This set features the five films “The Omen” (1976), “Damien: Omen II” (1978), “The Final Conflict” (1981), “Omen IV: The Awakening” (1991), and the remake “The Omen” (2006). There are no specific details yet regarding tech specs for the films but stay tuned for an update. It is however definitely worth noting that the first film in this set (“The Omen” original from 1976) will come with a new video transfer from a new 4K remaster. The other four films have not been said to have received new transfers, but they still could as details will be announced at a later point this year. That said, bonus materials are currently “in progress” so you will have to wait to hear what those are specifically, as well. You can now find the Blu-ray set available to pre-order over at Amazon as well as directly from Shout! Factory’s store (with an added bonus rolled lithograph for the first 666 customers).
The 2019 film “Ma“ starring Octavia Spencer is coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 3rd via Universal, according to multiple retailers. The film, directed by Tate Taylor and produced by Jason Blum, co-stars Diana Silvers, Juliette Lewis, McKaley Miller, Corey Fogelmanis, Gianni Paolo, Dante Brown, and Luke Evans. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release will come in the form of “combo pack” with a DVD and a digital copy (digital code) of the film included. You can now find the Blu-ray available for pre-order over at both Amazon and at retailer Best Buy. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.
The 2019 Illumination animated sequel “The Secret Life of Pets 2” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on August 27th via Universal, according to multiple retail listings. The film, directed by Chris Renaud and Jonathan del Val, features the voice talents of Patton Oswalt, Kevin Hart, Harrison Ford, Eric Stonestreet, Jenny Slate, Tiffany Haddish, Lake Bell, Dana Carvey, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress, and Nick Kroll. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio presented in HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The technical specifications for the Blu-ray release include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting a Blu-ray included, the Blu-ray getting a DVD included, and both receiving a digital copy (digital code) of the film. Lastly, there will also be a “The Secret Life of Pets: 2-Movie Collection“ set available only on Blu-ray released the very same day (August 27th) which is also now available for pre-order over at Amazon.

The film, directed by David Yarovesky and produced by James Gunn, stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner. The tech specs for the 4K and the Blu-ray have not yet been detailed although you likely can expect HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range on the 4K and Dolby Atmos sound on both.
