Best Buy getting an Avengers: Endgame 4K Steelbook

Retailer Best Buy already has pre-order listings up for “Avengers: Endgame” on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc. Plus, they will also be getting an Exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook. There’s no release date listed yet for the film on home video, however, I’ll bet that you can expect it sometime around August, based mainly on its placement over at this retailer. No other retailers yet have listed this film which just hit theaters yesterday. Stay tuned for any further updates.

The Entity starring Barbara Hershey on Blu-ray in June

The 1982 film “The Entity“ starring Barbara Hershey is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 11th via Scream Factory. The film, directed by Sidney J. Furie, co-starred Ron Silver, David Labiosa, George Coe, and Margaret Blye. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio sound in 2.0 Stereo, 5.1 and 4.1 configurations. The “Collector’s Edition” Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon and directly via Shout! Factory‘s store (with a bonus poster). Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

The two Andy Sidaris films “Picasso Trigger“ (1988) and “Savage Beach“ (1989) are both officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on July 9th via Mill Creek Entertainment. These two cult-classics have both received new 4K scans. The tech specs for the Blu-ray releases and bonus materials have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for an update. The TV series “Orange is the New Black: Season Six“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 11th via Lionsgate. The show, as seen on Netflix, (in this season) features a cast of Taylor Schilling, Uzo Aduba, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Danielle Brooks, Jackie Cruz, Selenis Leyva, and Taryn Manning. Tech specs for the Blu-ray Disc release of the sixth season include 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound.
