“The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada” Blu-ray in May

The 2005 film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada directed by and starring Tommy Lee Jones is coming to Blu-ray Disc on May 28th via Sony, according to an early alert to retailers. The film’s supporting cast included Barry PepperDwight Yoakam, Julio Cesar Cedillo, January Jones, and Melissa Leo. Tech specs and bonus materials (if any) for the Blu-ray release have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for an update. You can now find the Blu-ray available to pre-order over at Amazon.

“Mr. Baseball” starring Tom Selleck on Blu-ray in June

The 1992 sports comedy Mr. Baseball starring Tom Selleck is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 4th via Universal, according to an early alert to retailers. The film, directed by Fred Schepisi, featured a supporting cast of Dennis Haysbert, Ken Takakura, and Aya Takanashi. Tech specs for the Blu-ray have not yet been detailed nor have bonus materials if any even will be included. Stay tuned for a possible update on that. “Arabesque” with Gregory Peck comes to Blu-ray in June

The 1966 film Arabesque starring Gregory Peck and Sophia Loren is set to be coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 4th via Universal, according to an early alert to retailers. The film, directed by Stanley Donen, co-stars Alan Badel, Kieron Moore, and Carl Duering. The tech specs and bonus materials (if any) for the release have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for a later update. The Blu-ray is now available to pre-order over at Amazon.

“Hotel Mumbai” starring Dev Patel on Blu-ray in June

The 2019 film Hotel Mumbai starring Dev Patel is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 18th via Universal. The film, based on a true story and directed by Anthony Maras, features a supporting cast of Armie HammerNazanin Boniadi, Anupam Kher, and Jason Isaacs. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p HD video in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The Blu-ray is available for pre-order over at Amazon and Best Buy. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a DVD and digital copy of the film. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

“Ghostbusters 1 & 2” 35th Anniversary 4K Steelbook in June

The Ivan Reitman directed films “Ghostbusters” (1984) and “Ghostbusters II” (1989) are both getting a special 35th Anniversary Limited Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray Steelbook release on June 11th via Sony. The Ghostbusters 1 & 2: 35th Anniversary Limited Edition 4K Steelbook had first been reported by the folks over at Ghostbusters.net and now it is available for pre-order over at Amazon. The 4K tech specs remain identical to the previously released 4K UHD Blu-ray versions of the two films. However, a large number of new bonus materials are going to be included exclusively in this release. Lost In Space: The Complete First Season Blu-ray in June

The 2018 TV series Lost In Space: The Complete First Season is coming to Blu-ray Disc on June 4th via Fox, according to an early alert to retailers. The show, a revival of the 1960s science fiction classic, premiered last year on Netflix. The show’s cast includes Molly ParkerToby StephensMaxwell Jenkins, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey.

UPDATE: You can now find the Blu-ray available for pre-order over at Amazon. Tech specs for the release include 1080p in the 2.00:1 aspect ratio (as originally shown) and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The following bonus materials will be included on the release.

EDITOR NOTE: Sadly, there officially appears to be no sign of a 4K release of this show which is surprising because it airs (on Netflix) in 4K with HDR and even Dolby Atmos sound. Perhaps there will be plans at a later time for a 4K release, or perhaps not. Again, stay tuned!
