1996 Wes Craven film Scream comes to 4K in October

The 1996 film “Scream” will officially be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a 4K UHD Blu-ray release in both standard and SteelBook form on October 19th, via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Wes Craven, starred Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, Jamie Kennedy, Matthew Lillard, Skeet Ulrich, Rose McGowan, and Drew Barrymore.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray have not yet been detailed but you can for sure expect a 4K video presentation with HDR10 form of high dynamic range. Stay tuned for an update on the full details. The release (in standard and SteelBook forms) will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray standard release and the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook both available for preorder over at Amazon. The SteelBook can be seen below.

The 1996 film The Craft is getting a Collector’s Edition Blu-ray Disc release on March 12th, via Scream Factory. The film, directed by Andrew Fleming, featured a cast of Fairuza Balk, Robin TunneyNeve Campbell, Rachel True, and Skeet Ulrich. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update. The upcoming Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. “Skyscraper” starring Dwayne Johnson on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in October

“Skyscraper” starring Dwayne Johnson is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray Disc and Blu-ray 3D on October 9th via Universal. This news comes via an early alert to retailers. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for an update. The release will come in the form of “combo pack” for all three versions, with the 4K including a Blu-ray, Blu-ray including a DVD, Blu-ray 3D including a standard Blu-ray, and all including a Digital Copy of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray, Blu-ray Disc, and Blu-ray 3D are all available for PRE-ORDER now over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the releases are listed below.
