The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray have not yet been detailed, in fact, the title has not yet been officially announced by the studio [Disney], but stay tuned for an update on that. It is known, from the cover art (pictured above) that the release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film included, compatible with Movies Anywhere. You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon, however, you can find the title for preorder over at retailers Best Buy and Target — where the release date is currently listed.
The 1999 remake of the horror film “House on Haunted Hill“ is getting a “Collector’s Edition”Blu-ray Disc release from Scream Factory on October 9th. The film, directed by William Malone, featured a cast of Geoffrey Rush, Famke Janssen, Taye Diggs, Peter Gallagher, Chris Kattan, Ali Larter, Bridgette Wilson-Sampras, Max Perlich, Lisa Loeb, and Jeffrey Combs. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The release has a PRE-ORDER listing over at Amazon. This new release of the film boasts a brand new 2K scan of the film as you’ll see highlighted a bit below in regards to bonus materials set to be included on the release.
