“Bohemian Rhapsody” with Rami Malek on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray February

The 2018 Bryan Singer directed film “Bohemian Rhapsody” starring Rami Malek is coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 12th via Fox. The film is a biographical story of the band Queen and leads up to their 1985 Live Aid performance. The supporting cast includes Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aidan GillenAllen Leech, Tom Hollander, and Mike Myers.

Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K UHD Blu-ray getting a Blu-ray, the Blu-ray Disc getting a DVD, and both including a Digital Copy of the film. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are both available to pre-order now over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the releases are listed below.

Steve McQueen film “Widows” comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray in February

The 2018 Steve McQueen directed film “Widows” is slated for release on both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc formats February 5th, 2018 via Fox The film’s cast includes Viola DavisMichelle RodriguezElizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Jon Bernthal, Robert Duvall, and Liam Neeson. This film has received mostly positive reviews from critics. In fact, Widows is currently “Certified Fresh” (at time of writing) over at Rotten Tomatoes.

Tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video presented in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. Mike Judge’s “Office Space” gets 20th Anniversary Blu-ray release in January

The 1999 Mike Judge written & directed film Office Space starring Ron Livingston is getting a 20th Anniversary Blu-ray Disc release on January 8th, 2019 via Fox. This comedy co-starred Jennifer AnistonDavid Herman, Ajay Naidu, Diedrich Bader, Stephen Root, and Gary Cole. The tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not been detailed, so I can’t say if it will feature a new video transfer or any new extras – as of now. Stay tuned for any further updates. As of now get to see the cover art via the pre-order listing for the Blu-ray over at Amazon. It is known (via the art) that this will include a Digital Copy of the film.

John C. Reilly and Joaquin Phoenix in “The Sister Brothers” on Blu-ray February

The film is based on a novel and was directed by Jacques Audiard. It features a supporting cast of Jake Gyllenhaal, Riz Ahmed, Rebecca Root, Allison Tolman, Rutger Hauer, and Carol Kane. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. Critically acclaimed film “The Hate U Give” on 4K and Blu-ray in January

The 2018 critically acclaimed film “The Hate U Give” starring Amandla Stenberg is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 22nd, 2019 via Fox. This movie was absolutely loved by the critics, being “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes where (at time of writing) it carries a 97% rating. This is an adaptation of the novel (of the same title) written by Angie Thomas. The film was directed by George Tillman Jr. and features a supporting cast of Regina HallRussell Hornsby, Anthony Mackie, Issa Rae, CommonAlgee Smith, KJ Apa, and Sabrina Carpenter.
