Copshop with Gerard Butler on Blu-ray in December

The 2021 film “Copshop“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on December 7th via Universal Studio Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Joe Carnahan, stars Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, Alexis Louder, Toby Huss, Chad L. Coleman, and Ryan O’Nan. It’s most certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, on a BD-50 disc. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its DVD counterpart as well as a digital code (copy) of the film which is compatible with Movies Anywhere. You can now find the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. No bonus materials will be included with his release, according to the press release and rear package art.

The 2021 James Bond film “No Time to Die” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 21st via MGM (distributed by Universal Studios Home Entertainment). The film, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, starred Daniel Craig (in his final role as “Bond”), Léa Seydoux, Rami Malek, Lashana Lynch, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Christoph Waltz. It is most certainly worth noting that this is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. 2021 horror film Antlers comes to Blu-ray in January

The 2021 film “Antlers” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on January 4th, 2022 via Searchlight Pictures (Disney). The film, directed by Scott Cooper, was produced by Guillermo del Toro and David S. Goyer and its cast includes Keri Russell, Jesse Plemons, Jeremy T. Thomas, Graham Greene, Scott Haze, Rory Cochrane, and Amy Madigan.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. You cannot yet find the Blu-ray available for preorder anywhere, but stay tuned for an update on that. The release will come with a digital code (copy) of the film and the following extras.

The 2002 film “Clockstoppers“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc for the first time on January 25th, 2022, via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Jonathan Frakes, starred Jesse Bradford, French Stewart, Paula Garcés, Michael Biehn, Garikayi Mutambirwa, Lindze Letherman, and Julia Sweeney.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray have not yet been announced but you can expect full 1080p HD video, likely in the original 1.85:1 aspect ratio, with a lossless sound mix (presumably in a 5.1 surround configuration). It’s also unknown if this will contain all of the DVD extras ported over or not, but I would speculate that it should. That all being said, stay tuned for any updates regarding this release.
