The 2025 sequel “Wicked: For Good” is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 20th via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Jon M. Chu directed the movie. It starred Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Jonathan Bailey, Ethan Slater, and Bowen Yang. It also co-starred Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum. It’s worth noting that this movie is “Verified Hot” by audiences at Rotten Tomatoes.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (HDR10 compatible) high dynamic range, Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-100 disc. Tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, Dolby Atmos sound, on a BD-50 disc. The 4K releases will each come as a 2-disc set “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart included. Both the 4K and Blu-ray releases will include a digital code (copy) of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

There will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release (pictured below), which will be an exclusive at retailer Walmart. It’s now available for preorder.

A “2-Film Collection” will also be released on each 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray (pictured below) on January 20th. You can find those available for preorder at Amazon. These 2-film collections are also available, individually, on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray, for preorder at GRUV.

Finally, there will be a Limited Edition “Wicked: For Good” 4K UHD Blu-ray Gift Set coming out a few weeks later on February 3rd. This lavish box set (pictured below) is now available for preorder at Amazon.
