2022 film Uncharted on 4K and Blu-ray in May

The 2022 film “Uncharted” is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on May 10th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The film, based on the popular PlayStation video game series of the same title, directed by Ruben Fleischer, stars Tom Holland, Mark Wahlberg, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Ali, and Tati Gabrielle.

The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound.  Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD 2.39:1 aspect ratio video presentation and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.  Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will include its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray will include its DVD counterpart, and a digital code (copy) included with each.

You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases available for preorder over at Amazon.  There will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release available at all retailers (pictured below) which you also can find available for preorder over at Amazon and retailer Best Buy.  This will include the physical extra of a necklace with a ring.

The 1998 film “The Mask of Zorro“ starring Antonio Banderas is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on May 5th, via Sony. The film, directed by Martin Campbell, co-starred Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Stuart Wilson, and Matt Letscher. The tech specs for the release include video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range from a new 4K scan of the original camera negative and Dolby Atmos sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital code (copy) of the film also included. UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. It is also listed for preorder over at retailers Best Buy and Target. The bonus materials set to be included, listed below, here feature some new content that will be housed on the 4K disc.

The 2020 film “Dolittle” starring Robert Downey, Jr. is officially coming to both 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on April 7th, via Universal. The film, based on the story of “Dr. Dolittle” & directed by Stephen Gaghan, co-starred/featured the voice talents of Antonio Banderas, Michael Sheen, Jim Broadbent, Emma Thompson, Rami Malek, John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Octavia Spencer, Tom Holland, Craig Robinson, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez, and Marion Cotillard. The tech specs for the 4K include video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range with Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 sound. 1993 film “Philadelphia” starring Tom Hanks on 4K UHD Blu-ray in November

The 1993 Jonathan Demme directed film “Philadelphia“ starring Tom Hanks and Denzel Washington is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on November 27th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, according to an early alert to retailers. Tech specs and bonus materials for the release have not yet been detailed, but stay tuned for updates.

UPDATE: This will come in the form of a “25th Anniversary Edition” release as the cover art (pictured above) shows. Still no info yet regarding tech specs or bonus materials. The title is now available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon.
