Weapons is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in October

The 2025 film “Weapons” is set to be released on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray later this year via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Zach Cregger wrote and directed the film. It stars Julia Garner, Josh Brolin, Benedict Wong, Austin Abrams, Toby Huss, Alden Ehrenreich, and Amy Madigan. It is certainly worth noting that this film is “Certified Fresh” by critics and “Verified Hot” by audiences at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio, accompanied by Dolby Vision and HDR10 (forms of high dynamic range), and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.39:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray releases will feature a digital copy of the movie, compatible with Movies Anywhere.

The 1989 film Uncle Buck is coming to 4K in February

The 1989 film “Uncle Buck” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on February 18th via KL Studio Classics. The film was written & directed by John Hughes. It starred John Candy, Macaulay Culkin, Jean Louisa Kelly, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Madigan, Laurie Metcalf, Mike Starr, Garrett M. Brown, and Elaine Bromka.
The movie has received a new 4K master, from a 4K scan of the 35mm original camera negative. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision or HDR10 forms of high dynamic range on a BD-100 disc. Audio will be presented in DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and Lossless 2.0 Stereo. The release will come as a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc counterpart included.
UPDATED: The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon and directly via Kino Lorber’s website. This 2-disc set includes the following bonus materials.

“Field of Dreams” with Kevin Costner gets 30th anniversary 4K release in May
The 1989 film “Field of Dreams“ starring Kevin Costner is officially getting a 30th Anniversary Edition 4K UHD Blu-ray release on May 14th, via Universal. The film, directed by Phil Alden Robinson, co-starred James Earl Jones, Ray Liotta, Timothy Busfield, Amy Madigan, Gaby Hoffman, Frank Whaley, and Burt Lancaster.
The tech specs for the 4K include 2160p video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic range and DTS:X sound. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” with a Blu-ray Disc and a digital copy of the film included. The 4K UHD Blu-ray is now available for pre-order over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are identical to the previous Blu-ray release and listed below.

There will also be an exclusive 4K Steelbook release of the film available over at retailer Best Buy. That Steelbook (pictured below) can be found for pre-order.
RUMOR: “Field of Dreams” with Kevin Costner comes to 4K UHD Blu-ray in May
It’s been rumored and it nears being confirmed that the 1989 film “Field of Dreams” starring Kevin Costner is getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray release on May 14th via Universal, according to an early alert to retailers. The film, directed by Phil Alden Robinson, co-starred James Earl Jones, Ray Liotta, Timothy Busfield, Amy Madigan, Gaby Hoffman, Frank Whaley, and Burt Lancaster. Tech specs and bonus materials have not at all yet been detailed for the 4K release. It is known that there will be an exclusive Steelbook for the 4K release available at retailer Best Buy (pictured above). That 4K steelbook and the standard 4K release both have placeholders over at Best Buy. The only other detail that seems to be obvious is that the release comes in the form of a “combo pack” with the Blu-ray of the film also included (as shown in the Steelbook art).
