The 2007 film “Stardust“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in SteelBook on September 24th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Matthew Vaughn & based on the Neil Gaiman novel, included a cast of Claire Danes, Charlie Cox, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro, Peter O’Toole, Rupert Everett, Ricky Gervais, and Henry Cavill, with the voice talent of Ian McKellen (as the narrator).
The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy included. The tech specs and bonus materials for the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release have yet to be announced but stay tuned for an update. The 2002 dark comedy “Death to Smoochy” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 20th via Shout Select (Shout! Factory). This release will be spine number 165 in the Shout Select series. The film, directed by Danny DeVito, starred Robin Williams, Edward Norton, Catherine Keener, Jon Stewart, and Danny DeVito. The movie has received a NEW 2K Restoration from the Interpositive. Tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround and 2.0 Stereo lossless sound. Commissions EarnedThe TV show “Succession: The Complete Series” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 27th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. As seen on HBO, the show starred Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, and Fisher Stevens.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound, spanning across a 12-disc set. You can now find the Blu-ray set available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s worth noting that only the first season of this show has ever received a Blu-ray release, so this will be the first time that the second, third, and fourth seasons will be available in HD on the format. The film, directed & co-written by Ishana Shyamalan, stars Dakota Fanning, Georgina Campbell, Olwen Fouéré, and Oliver Finnegan. The film was produced by the director’s father M. Night Shyamalan. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The film, directed by Renny Harlin, stars Madelaine Petsch and Froy Gutierrez. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Commissions Earned“The Three Stooges Collection“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 13th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The 20-disc gift set includes 100 “treasured” Shorts starring Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Curly Howard. Also included are 20 additional shorts featuring Shemp Howard, Joe Besser, and Joe DeRita. The tech specs for the release include a variety of Black & White and Color 1080p HD video quality in the 1.33:1, 1.37:1, and 1.85:1 aspect ratios with a variety of DTS-HD Master Audio lossless Mono and Stereo sound. It’s also worth noting, that the “gift set packaging features [a] button-activated sound chip with classic Stooges noises!” You can now find the Blu-ray Disc gift set available for preorder at Amazon, retailer Walmart, and online retailer Deep Discount. This set has a runtime of over 29 hours.

The film was directed & co-written by George Miller, known for correspondingly directing all of the previous “Mad Max” franchise films. It stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, Tom Burke, George Shevtsov, Lachy Hulme, John Howard, Angus Sampson, and Charlee Fraser.
Tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. It’s most certainly worth noting that there will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook for the film available (pictured below) on the same date [8/13] which is listed for preorder over at retailer Walmart. According to its artwork, this will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy included. It also has a placeholder page on Amazon but is yet to be a functional preorder. So, there’s a chance that this SteelBook may end up being a Walmart exclusive — although that is yet to be confirmed.
