The 2013 movie Mama is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in a “Collector’s Edition” on September 30th via Scream Factory. Andy Muschietti directed and co-wrote the movie. Guillermo del Toro served as executive producer. It starred Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier, Daniel Kash, and Isabelle Nelisse.

The motion picture has received a new 2024 4K restoration. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of high dynamic range and lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The 2024 film The Unholy Trinity is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on August 26th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Richard Gray directed the movie. It starred Pierce Brosnan, Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon Lessard, Gianni Capaldi, David Arquette, and Tim Daly.

The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 2.00:1 aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound. The Blu-ray will include a digital copy of the film, compatible with Movies Anywhere. No bonus materials will be included with this release. It’s worth noting that this motion picture is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This release will include the rated theatrical cut (117 minutes) and the UNRATED version (133 minutes).

Knight Rider The Complete Series on 4K in July

The TV show Knight Rider: The Complete Series is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on July 22nd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The show ran for a total of four seasons from 1982 through 1986. It starred David Hasselhoff.

The tech specs include a 21-disc set, in 2160p presumably in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range. The audio format has yet to be announced, but I’m expecting it to be a lossless stereo sound mix for the entire series. Stay tuned for an update on the exact technical specifications.

Romero produced. It starred Tony Todd and Patricia Tallman. The movie is celebrating its 35th anniversary this year.

The 4K release includes both the new UNRATED “Uncensored Cut” and the theatrical release. Both versions will be presented in 2160p video in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 form of high dynamic range.
