Amazon Commission EarnedAs announced today, during the “DCFanDome” 2021 event, there will officially be a DC Animated Movie called “Catwoman: Hunted” coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 8th, 2022 via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Shinsuke Terasawa, features the voice talents of Elizabeth Gillies, Stephanie Beatriz, Jonathan Banks, Steve Blum, Lauren Cohan, Keith David, Zehra Fazal, Kelly Hu, and Jonathan Frakes.
The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of high dynamic range and a lossless 5.1 sound mix (likely in DTS-HD Master Audio, although yet confirmed). The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and a lossless 5.1 sound mix. The 4K UHD Blu-ray will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will come with the Blu-ray Disc counterpart. Both the 4K and Blu-ray will include a digital code (copy) of the film which is compatible with Movies Anywhere.
UPDATE: You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon. You also can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both available over at retailers Best Buy and Target. There’s no sign that either retailer will be getting an exclusive.

The film, directed by Richard Lester, starred John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, and Wilfrid Brambell. It’s most certainly worth noting that this was the first feature-length major motion picture that the band made during their legendary career.
The movie has received a new 4K restoration, which has been approved by the director Richard Lester. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation, in Black & White, in the 1.75:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and 3 audio mixes [supervised by sound producer Giles Martin] with 1.0 Mono, and 2.0 Stereo mixes both uncompressed in linear PCM, and a DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround sound mix. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart.

The 2021 film “Prisoners of the Ghostland” starring Nicolas Cage is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in SteelBook form (as pictured above) and Blu-ray Disc on November 16th, via RLJE Films. The film, directed by Sion Sono, co-stars Sofia Boutella, Nick Cassavetes, Bill Moseley, Tak Sakaguchi, and Yuzuka Nakaya.
The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. It would appear that no form of HDR (high dynamic range) will be included with the 4K release, but I have asked if that is the case, so stay tuned for an update [or perhaps confirmation]. The 2021 horror film “Malignant“ is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on November 30th via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, produced, co-written & directed by James Wan, stars Annabelle Wallis, Maddie Hasson, George Young, Michole Briana White, Jean Louisa Kelly, Susanna Thompson, Jake Abel, and Jacqueline McKenzie. It is most certainly worth noting, that at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” currently over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.

The movie has received a new 16-bit 4K restoration from the original uncut negative. The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound as well as the original DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 Mono and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound mixes. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the Blu-ray Disc counterpart (in HD) will be included.

This movie will be making its debut in North America on the Blu-ray format. The film, directed by David Steinberg, starred “SCTV” cast members John Candy, Joe Flaherty, and Eugene Levy. It co-starred Alley Mills, Pat Hingle, Kurtwood Smith, and Ernie Hudson.
The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and a lossless sound mix (not yet detailed). The Blu-ray is not yet available for preorder over at Amazon, but there’s a product page already up. Stay tuned for an update on that.
