Jawbreaker 20th Anniversary Blu-ray November

The 1999 comedic thriller “Jawbreaker“ is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a new Blu-ray Disc release coming November 19th, via Sony MOD (manufacture on demand). That means this will ONLY be available online. The film, written & directed by Darren Stein, starred Rose McGowan, Rebecca Gayheart, Julie Benz, Judy Greer, P.J. Soles, Carol Kane, and Pam Grier. Tech specs for the release include 1080p HD video in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and 2.0 Stereo mixes. The Blu-ray is now available to preorder over at Amazon and retailer Best Buy. The new 20th Anniversary edition Blu-ray will include a new audio commentary as well as the original extras, listed below.

Rambo Last Blood on 4K and Blu-ray December

The 2019 sequel “Rambo: Last Blood” starring Sylvester Stallone is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 17th, via Lionsgate. The film, directed by Adrian Grunberg, co-stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Joaquín Cosio, Yvette Monreal, and Óscar Jaenada. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision and HDR10 forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include 1080p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting the DVD, and each including a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray are available for preorder over at Amazon. It’s worth noting that retailer Best Buy will have an exclusive 4K Steelbook (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.

Once Upon A Time in Hollywood on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2019 Quentin Tarantino film “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on December 10th, via Sony. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Julia Butters, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, and Al Pacino. Tech specs for the 4K release include 2160p video in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 form of High Dynamic Range and DTS-HD 7.1 Master Audio sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. Both the standard 4K and Blu-ray versions will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting the Blu-ray counterpart, the Bu-ray getting the DVD counterpart and each getting a digital code (copy) of the film. The film is now available to preorder on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc (in standard releases) over at Amazon. There will also be a very cool retro “Collector’s Edition“ of the film released on 4K UHD Blu-ray (pictured below) which will include the physical extras like a 45rpm vinyl single of “Rick Dalton” music, a collectible MAD Magazine from 1969, and a fictional movie poster (starring “Rick Dalton”) in very beautiful packaging. This collector’s edition is now available for preorder over at Amazon.

Beverly Hills Cop Collection on Blu-ray January

The “Beverly Hills Cop 3-Movie Collection“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc as a set on January 14th, 2020 via Paramount. This set includes 4K remastered versions of the films “Beverly Hills Cop” (1984), “Beverly Hills Cop II” (1987), and “Beverly Hills Cop III” (1994). The two sequels have never been released yet on the Blu-ray format and are making their debut in this 3-Movie Collection. The tech specs for the releases have not yet been detailed but I’m trying to get some info from Paramount soon regarding that. So, stay updated. UPDATE: The Blu-ray set is now available for preorder over at Amazon. Bonus materials set to be included on the Blu-ray Disc for the first film include new and previously materials listed below.
