Horizon: An American Saga Chapter 1 on 4K and Blu-ray

The 2024 western “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” appears to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on September 10th via Warner Bros. Discovery Entertainment — according to retailers. The film, directed and co-written by, and starring Kevin Costner, co-stars Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Owen Crow Shoe, Tatanka Means, Ella Hunt, Tim Guinee, Giovanni Ribisi, Danny Huston, Colin Cunningham, Scott Haze, Tom Payne, Abbey Lee, Michael Rooker, Will Patton, and Luke Wilson.

UPDATE: The tech specs for the 4K include a 2160p video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 1.85:1 aspect ratio and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will include a digital copy.

You can already find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder, with the [9/10] release date, over at Amazon. Also, the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are listed as available for preorder, with that same release date, on online retailer GRUV. To further back up a confirmation of the September release date, you can find it detailed for the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray preorder listings at the online retailer Deep Discount. The 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are also available for preorder at retailer Walmart.

Finally, it’s certainly worth noting that retailer Walmart will be getting a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) which you can find available for preorder. That release appears (from its artwork) to be coming as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart included as well as a digital copy.

The 2007 film “Stardust“ is coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray in SteelBook on September 24th via Paramount Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Matthew Vaughn & based on the Neil Gaiman novel, included a cast of Claire Danes, Charlie Cox, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro, Peter O’Toole, Rupert Everett, Ricky Gervais, and Henry Cavill, with the voice talent of Ian McKellen (as the narrator).

The release will come as a “combo pack” with its Blu-ray Disc counterpart and a digital copy included. The tech specs and bonus materials for the 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook release have yet to be announced but stay tuned for an update. The 2024 action/comedy film “The Fall Guy” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc formats on July 23rd via Universal Studios Home Entertainment. The film, directed by David Leitch, stars Ryan Gosling, Emily Blunt, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke. UPDATE: The film will also receive an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) on that same date at retailer Walmart, which is now available for preorder.

The 2023 Marvel Studios film “The Marvels” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on February 13th via Disney.  The film, the latest in the “Marvel Cinematic Universe” was directed by Nia DaCosta, and it stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and  Samuel L. Jackson.
