1972 film Lady Sings the Blues on Blu-ray in February

The 1972 film “Lady Sings the Blues” starring Diana Ross is finally making its debut to the Blu-ray Disc format on February 23rd, 2021, via Paramount. The film, a biopic about the life of late jazz singer Billie Holiday, was directed by Sidney J. Furie, plus it co-starred Billy Dee Williams, Isabel Sanford, Sid Melton, Virginia Capers, and Richard Pryor. The tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for a possible update on that. You can now find the Blu-ray listed to preorder over at Amazon. The bonus materials, previously released in SD (standard definition) video quality, set to be included with this release are listed below.
