Blade starring Wesley Snipes officially on 4K December

The 1998 film Blade starring Wesley Snipes is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 1st, via Warner. The film, directed by Stephen Norrington & written by David S. Goyer, co-starred Stephen DorffKris Kristofferson, N’Bushe Wright, Donal Logue, Udo Kier, Arly Jover, and Traci Lords. The tech specs for the release include a 2160p 4K presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of High Dynamic Range and Dolby Atmos sound, with a Dolby TrueHD 7.1 core. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that it will include its Blu-ray Disc counterpart along with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray is available to preorder over at Amazon. There will also be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook exclusively at retailer Best Buy, which is pictured below and now available for preorder as well.

The bonus materials for the release include the following:

  • Cast & Crew Audio Commentary (on the 4K disc & Blu-ray) Commentary with Wesley Snipes, Stephen Dorff, David S. Goyer, Theo Van De Sande, Kirk M. Petruccelli & Peter Frankfurt

Gus Van Sant film “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot” on Blu-ray in October

The 2018 Gus Van Sant directed film “Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far On Foot” starring Joaquin Phoenix is coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 9th via Lionsgate. The film, based on the true story / book by John Callahan, co-stars Jonah Hill, Rooney Mara, Jack Black, and Carrie Brownstein. The film is (at time of writing) “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes, where it currently carries a 75% rating. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p HD video in the 1.78:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 5.1 Master Audio sound. The title is now yet available for pre-order, but stay tuned for an update.
