Farscape The Complete Series 20th Anniversary

The Jim Henson Company produced TV series Farscape: The Complete Series will be getting a “20th Anniversary” Blu-ray Disc set released on November 19th via Sony. The Australian-American television series originally aired in 1999 and ran for a total of four seasons. The show’s cast included Ben Browder, Claudia Black, Anthony Simcoe, Lani John Tupu, Jonathan Hardy, Gigi Edgley, and Wayne Pygram. Tech specs for this new Blu-ray set include 1080p HD video in both 1.33:1 and 1.78:1 aspect ratios with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. This special “20th Anniversary” Blu-ray set will finally include the two-part finale mini-series Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars from 2004. You can find this upcoming Blu-ray set now available for preorder over at Amazon. Details about the contents and bonus materials on the release are listed below.

Jim Henson’s “Fraggle Rock: The Complete Series” on Blu-ray in September

FRAGGLE_ROCK_DIGIBOOK_FINAL copyUPDATE: PRE-ORDER is now available over at Amazon!

The Jim Henson created TV series “Fraggle Rock: The Complete Series” is finally coming to Blu-ray Disc on September 25th via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Tech specs include remastered HD video and lossless audio spanning across a 12-disc set. In other words: full 1080p HD video and DTS-HD Master Audio sound. No word yet on if they will be presented in the original 1.33:1 aspect ratio and if they’ll receive 5.1 treatment for the audio, but stay tuned for an update. The release is going to come in scrapbook packaging titled the “35th Anniversary Collector’s Edition” as you’ll see pictured above.
