The 1999 film Deep Blue Sea is coming to 4K in March

The 1999 film “Deep Blue Sea” will be released on March 18th via Arrow Video on 4K UHD Blu-ray Limited Edition and also Blu-ray Disc Limited Edition. Renny Harlin directed the film. This movie starred Samuel L. Jackson, Saffron Burrows, Thomas Jane, Jacqueline McKenzie, Michael Rapaport, Stellan Skarsgård, LL Cool J, Aida Turturro, Cristos, and Ronny Cox.
The movie has received a new 4K restoration from the original camera negatives by Arrow Films approved by director Renny Harlin. The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Vision (or HDR10) form of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 lossless surround sound.

Dune: Part Two is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in May

“Dune: Part Two” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on May 14th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. The film, directed Denis Villeneuve, stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux, Souheila Yacoub, Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem.
The tech specs for the 4K release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. The tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Atmos sound. Each version contains a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray available for preorder at Amazon. Also, the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray are available for preorder at Walmart. It’s certainly worth noting that there will be a 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook (pictured below) and a “Dune 2-Film Collection” available on 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray. The SteelBook preorder is pending. Dune 2021 is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in January

The 2021 version of “Dune” is officially coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on January 11th, 2022 via Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The film, directed by Denis Villeneuve and based on the novels by Frank Herbert, stars Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Stellan Skarsgård, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, David Dastmalchian, and Zendaya. It should be noted, at the time of writing, this film is “Certified Fresh” over at Rotten Tomatoes.
The tech specs for the 4K UHD Blu-ray include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect ratio with HDR10 and Dolby Vision forms of high dynamic range and Dolby Atmos sound. Tech specs for the Blu-ray include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.39:1 aspect and Dolby Atmos sound. Both releases will come in the form of a “combo pack” with the 4K getting its Blu-ray counterpart, the Blu-ray getting its DVD counterpart, and a digital code (copy) of each included — compatible with Movies Anywhere. You cannot yet find the 4K UHD Blu-ray or the Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon, but placeholder pages are up. However, you can find the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray both available for preorder already over at retailers Target and Walmart.
Retailer Target will be getting an exclusive packaging for the Blu-ray Disc version (pictured below) which is now available for preorder.
It is known that there will also be an exclusive 4K UHD Blu-ray SteelBook of the film available over at retailer Best Buy (pictured below). That’s listed as coming soon and is not yet a functional preorder listing.
