Amazon Commissions Earned

The 2021 TV series “Sweet Tooth: The Complete First Season” is officially coming to Blu-ray Disc on October 11th via Warner Archive Collection, part of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.  The show, as seen on Netflix, stars Nonso Anozie, Christian Convery, Aliza Vellani, Stefania LaVie Owen, and Dania Ramirez, and it features voice narration by James Brolin.  It’s also worth noting that this series is produced by Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr.‘s Team Downey production company.

Tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in the 2.20:1 aspect ratio and a lossless 5.1 surround mix — presumably in DTS-HD Master Audio but yet to be confirmed.  You can now find the Blu-ray finally available for preorder over at Amazon.  There will be no bonus materials included with this release.

Further below, after the break, you can find the full details about this upcoming home video release of the show’s first season.

Krampus The Naughty Cut on 4K in December

Amazon Commissions Earned

The 2015 film Krampus will be getting a “Collector’s Edition” 4K UHD Blu-ray release featuring The Naughty Cut on December 7th, via Scream Factory (Shout! Factory). The film, directed and co-written by Michael Dougherty, starred Adam Scott, Toni Collette, Allison Tolman, Stefania LaVie Owen, Emjay Anthony, and David Koechner. Info regarding “The Naughty Cut” and how it differs from the theatrical cut of the film can be found in detail below.

“For the first time ever Michael’s Dougherty’s previously unseen “Naughty Cut” of the film will be seeing the light of day! This alternate version restores key dialogue and scenes that had to be trimmed from the original theatrical release to appease the MPAA. Supervised by filmmaker Michael Dougherty, this is the definitive version of the holiday cult classic!”

The tech specs for the release include a 2160p video presentation in the 2.40:1 aspect ratio, presumably with HDR10 form of high dynamic range (although yet confirmed) with the audio configuration and format not detailed yet either as well. So, stay tuned for an update on that, as well as for when bonus materials are finalized and get announced. The release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that you’ll get the Blu-ray Disc (1080p HD) counterpart included. You can now find the 4K UHD Blu-ray available for preorder over at Amazon and directly via Shout! Factory. Lastly, it should be noted that the original theatrical cut of the film will not be presented with this release.
