Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island Terror Time Blu-ray

The 1998 animated film “Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island“ comes to Blu-ray via a “Terror Time Collector’s Edition” set on October 28th via Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment. Jim Stenstrum directed the straight-to-video movie. It featured the voice talents of Scott Innes, Billy West, Mary Kay Bergman, Frank Welker, B.J. Ward, Adrienne Barbeau, Tara Strong, and Mark Hamill.
The tech specs for the release include a 1080p HD video presentation in a 1.37:1 (or perhaps 1.33:1) aspect ratio with lossless DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0 stereo sound, on a BD-50 disc. The Terror Time Collector’s Edition Blu-ray is now available for preorder at Amazon.
The release will include some physical extras (pictured below) and the following bonus materials.

- Collectible O-card slipcover
- Clear Blu-ray case with interior artwork and chapter list inside
- Audio commentary by filmmaker and Scooby historian Matt Dugan
- Official Trailer
- 12-page Collectible Booklet filled with images and an essay written by Matt Dugan
- Limited Edition “Terror Time” packaging
EDITORIAL NOTE: This is not the first time that this movie has been available on the Blu-ray format. In fact, it was released just last year (in 2024) via Warner Archive in a double-feature.
Hanna-Barbera’s Superstars 10 on Blu-ray in February

There will be a release of the “Hanna-Barbera’s Superstars 10” complete film collection on Blu-ray Disc on February 20th in a box set (pictured above) as well as in individual releases (pictured below) via Warner Archive.

“In 1987, the legendary animation team of William Hanna and Joseph Barbera brought forth a series of ten feature-length animated features to television, all of which would feature their most popular cartoon characters. These films were sold into syndication as the HANNA-BARBERA SUPERSTARS 10, each providing irresistible entertainment. Yogi Bear and Scooby-Doo each star in three productions, along with a one-time only meeting of THE FLINTSTONES and THE JETSONS, Judy Jetson takes the spotlight in her own adventure, while HUCKLEBERRY HOUND heads up an exciting all-star Western, and the loveable TOP CAT and his gang star is a story set in Beverly Hills. For these productions, Hanna-Barbera was able to use many of the original performers who provided their voice talents in the original incarnations to re-create their roles for these films. Animation voice talents including Daws Butler, Don Messick, and Mel Blanc, are the original voice casts of THE JETSONS, Arnold Stang, Marvin Kaplan, and Leo deLyon once again provide their TOP CAT character’s voices, and of course, all of the Scooby-Doo gang is on hand to top off the fun. “Scoob!” is coming to 4K and Blu-ray in July

The 2020 animated film “Scoob!” appears to be coming to 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Disc on July 21st via Warner, according to multiple retailer listings. The film, based on “Scooby-Doo” and directed by Tony Cervone, features the voice talents of Will Forte, Mark Wahlberg, Jason Isaacs, Gina Rodriguez, Zac Efron, Amanda Seyfried, Kiersey Clemons, Ken Jeong, Tracy Morgan, and Frank Welker (as “Scooby-Doo”).
Tech specs and bonus materials for the releases have not yet been detailed but stay tuned for an update when the title gets officially announced by the studio [Warner]. It is known (from art) that the 4K release will come in the form of a “combo pack” meaning that the 4K will get a Blu-ray included and each version, including Blu-ray, will come with a digital code (copy) of the film. You can now find both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and the Blu-ray available for pre-order over at Amazon as well as retailers Best Buy and Target.
“Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?” comes to Blu-ray
The classic 1969 Hanna-Barbera animated TV show “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? The Complete Series“ is coming to Blu-ray Disc in a 50th-anniversary limited edition set on September 3rd via Warner. The set, styled after a mystery mansion, will be limited to 50,000 copies in total. Tech specs for the release have not yet been detailed, but you can expect full 1080p HD video and likely lossless (DTS-HD Master Audio) sound. The 4-disc set will include all 41 of the original episodes of the animated series as well as some new bonus materials and even physical extras like a Funko keychain and a “Scooby-Doo!” Encyclopedia (shown below).
